On the festival of Raksha Bandhan, all ages women along with their children (up to 15 years of age) will be able to travel free of cost in ordinary buses operating within the state as well as to Chandigarh and Delhi – Vij

Haryana Transport Minister Sh. Anil Vij today announced that on the sacred festival of Raksha Bandhan, women and children (up to 15 years of age) will be provided free travel facility in Haryana Roadways’ ordinary buses.
Sh. Vij said that a proposal in this regard has been approved by the Chief Minister.
He said that the state government has decided to provide free travel facility to women of all age groups and their children (up to 15 years of age) in Haryana Roadways’ ordinary buses operating within the state and to Chandigarh and Delhi, so that women/sisters and children can travel conveniently on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The Transport Minister stated that this free travel facility in Haryana Roadways’ ordinary buses for women and children will be available from 12 noon on August 8, 2025, to 12 midnight on August 9, 2025.
