Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that the Partition was a painful event caused by Congress. He blamed the party for dividing the country, causing widespread violence and the death of 1 million people.
Sh.Vij said his party decided to observe “Vibhajan Vibhishika Divas” to raise awareness about the tragedy orchestrated by Congress.
He criticized Congress for having no proper planning regarding population transfer during Partition and accused it of dividing the nation based on religion to create Pakistan by allotting land to Muslims, despite calling itself a secular party.
