Buyers of vehicles priced between Rs40 lakh and Rs70 lakh can apply

The Haryana Government is providing a special incentive to buyers of electric/hybrid electric vehicles. Vehicle owners who have purchased electric/hybrid electric vehicles priced between Rs40 lakh and Rs70 lakh, and whose vehicles have been registered between May 1, 2025, and July 24, 2025, will be eligible to apply for the “One-time Purchase Incentive” on the Invest Haryana Portal. All eligible buyers can submit their applications on the portal from August 28, 2025, to September 27, 2025. The portal will remain open for only one month.
Giving this information, a spokesperson of the Industries and Commerce Department, Haryana, said the use of electric/hybrid electric vehicles will not only contribute to improving the environment but will also help in reducing the expenses of the common people. He stated that electric/hybrid electric vehicles emit less carbon dioxide, thereby reducing pollution. Research has consistently shown that electric vehicles generate fewer greenhouse gases and air pollutants compared to petrol and diesel cars.
