Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij today lauded the widespread public participation in programmes organized under Seva Pakhwada, launched on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
He said that “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working tirelessly for the nation’s welfare without taking a single day’s leave. The Seva Pakhwada activities initiated on his birthday reflect the collective spirit of service, with more and more citizens enthusiastically taking part and setting new benchmarks in public service.”
While interacting with the media persons in Ambala Cantonment, Sh.Vij attended a blood donation camp organized by the BJP at Agarwal Dharamshala in Ambala Cantonment under the Seva Pakhwada initiative.
Highlighting the importance of the campaign, he said that “Blood donation is the greatest donation of all. Blood cannot be manufactured; it can only be given by humans. On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, BJP units across the country are conducting blood donation camps, health check-ups, and plantation drives. In Ambala Cantonment alone, all four BJP mandals – Sadar, Maheshnagar, Gramin, and Shastri – are organizing such activities.”
Sh. Vij further said that, keeping in line with the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday, each camp has been given the target of collecting 75 units of blood, and today’s drive is aligned with that goal.
The Minister praised the enthusiasm of the volunteers, personally motivating the donors by pinning badges on them. He commended the BJP Sadar Mandal for its efforts and expressed appreciation for the camp’s organization. On the occasion, party leaders presented Sh. Vij with a memento as a token of respect.
The programme was attended by Civil Surgeon Dr. Rakesh Sehl, PMO Dr. Pooja, and senior BJP leaders including Sanjeev Soni, Ashish Aggarwal, B.S. Bidra, Rajeev Gupta, Karan Aggarwal, Vipin Khanna, Bijender Chauhan, Ravi Buddhiraja, Iqbal, Shyam Sunder Arora, Vinay Mehta, Iqbal Dhanda, Ashish Jaiswal, Vikas Jain, Ajay Gupta, Sachin Buddhiraja, Tarun Sethi and others.
