So far 1.39 crore digital caste certificates given under Public Service Guarantee Act

As many as 9 crore 92 lakh applications disposed in Public Service Guarantee

Innovative efforts are being made in the direction of good governance to strengthen civil rights in the state and to make public service delivery system effective and simple.

Under the notified service number 6.4 ‘Caste Certificate’ provision campaign of the General Administration Department, the campaign to provide caste certificates to school students across the state is being successfully implemented by the Lok Seva Kendras. So far, about one crore 39 lakh digitally signed coloured certificates have been provided under the campaign. These digitally signed colour certificates are available from a common repository on the website www.mpedistrict.gov.in. So far, about 9 crore 92 lakh applications have been resolved under the services provided under the Public Service Guarantee Act.

Formation of Public Service Management Department

With the aim of providing better public services to the citizens in the state, the state government has constituted a separate ‘Public Service Management Department’. The department mainly sees to implementation of the Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act, establishment and operation of Public Service Centers, operation of CM Helpline Call Center along with operation of ‘CM Dashboard’. Public service centers have been established in all the tehsils of the state. Through these centres, citizens of the state are being provided the department’s services in a fixed period of time. According to the PPP model, 432 public service centers are being operated in the state. So far 720 public services have been notified under the Public Service Guarantee Act. Of these, 341 services are being provided online to the citizens through Public Service Centers.

Immediate service of Samadhin Ek Din

With the aim of providing service to the citizens in one day, “Samadhan Ek Din Instant Delivery Service System” is also being operated. Under this, 32 services of various government departments are being provided to the citizens in one working day. More than 2 crore 50 lakh citizens have benefited from this system. Digitally signed certificates provided under this service are being sent to the applicants through WhatsApp/e-mail so that they can download and use it as per their convenience.
