Swami Vivekanandas life and philosophy ignites the spirit of youth: Shri Mangubhai Patel

Shri Patel pays tribute to Swamiji on his birth anniversary.

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that the youth should read about the life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda. They should learn about his life and ideology, understand them and take inspiration to work for the upliftment of oneself and the society. The youth should endevour to utilise their energy, capability, fortitude and vigour for nation building. He said that educational institutions should teach students about the ideology of Swami Vivekananda and other great personalities to motivate them to come forward and work.   

The Governor said that Swamiji was remarkable and multifaceted. He was a scholar in religion, philosophy, history, art, music, literature and sports. This is the reason why his Guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa called him a ‘complete’ man. Shri Patel was addressing the gathering at the inauguration of “Youth for Nation Madhya Pradesh Chapter”. On this occasion, he paid tributes to Swamiji on his birth anniversary.     

Governor Shri Patel calles upon the youth to actively engage in shaping the nation’s future through their innovations and ideas, emphasising their crucial role as a bridge connecting our illustrious past to a magnificent future. India is the youngest country in the world. It is youth’s responsibility for India’s holistic deveopment and transforming it into a world leader.        

Youth should regularly practice yoga

Governor Shri Patel said that the process of transforming India into a developed nation has begun. He said that the first need of a strong nation is strong youth. When dreams are huge, hard work is must. Youth should exercise, practice yoga and meditation regularly. Eating nutritious food, including whole grains in one’s diet, good sleep, adequate water and plenty of exercise are the basic mantras to stay healthy.Healthy youth will ensure the development of the nation. Governor Shri Patel said that the next 25 years is the testing period of the strength and potential of the youth. The youth should adopt the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda “Get up, wake up and do not stop till you achieve your goal”.

Globalize the local products

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that the youth of our country are making us proud in every field. India is now one of the best economies in the world. He said that for Atmanirbhar Bharat, youth have a huge responsibility to globalize local products by taking them beyond vocal. Shri Patel said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has pledged to make India a superpower by 2047 with the help of youth. He says that “the more productive the youth is, the more progressive the country will be”. It is crucial for youth to evolve as entrepreneur rather than being job seekers.

Swamiji symbol of reawakening- Dr. Mohan Gupta

In the inauguration programme, former Divisional Commissioner Dr. Mohan Gupta, President of Youth for Nation Madhya Pradesh Chapter said that Swami ji is a symbol of reawakening of youth. He said that Swami ji has propagated Advaita philosophy and Sanatan all over the world in his life. He introduced the world to the eternal values ​​of our culture. Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Prof. Sunil Kumar, National Chief Convenor of Youth for Nation, Prof. G.S. Murthy were present in the programme.
