He said that the swimming pool being constructed at PTC would be used as a water disaster management center and swimming training would also be provided to the Police personnel.<br \/>\nHe said that all necessary facilities in the workplace are being provided to the employees of the Police Department in a time bound manner. At present the accountability of the Police Department has increased manifold.<br \/>\nThe Chief Minister said that the State Government was committed to ensure the welfare of the employees of the Police Department and many steps were being taken in this direction.<br \/>\nHe said that the police personnel have also contributed a lot in achieving the 100 percent target of giving the first dose of vaccination to the eligible adults in the state. He also congratulated the Police Department for this achievement.<br \/>\nUrban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that the police personnel have played a commendable role during the Corona crisis. They ensured the discharge of their duty in spite of adversity. He said that efforts would be made to modernize Shimla Sadar police station under Smart City Mission.<br \/>\nDirector General of Police Sanjay Kundu welcomed the Chief Minister and expressed his gratitude for inaugurating various projects and laying the foundation stones. He detailed about various activities and developmental works of the Police Department. He said that efforts have been made to create parking and other facilities in the newly constructed buildings.
