The Government of India (GoI) has announced the Sale (Re-issue<\/strong>) of (i)\u00a0\u2018\u2018GoI Floating Rate Bonds, 2028\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0for a notified amount of\u00a0\u20b94,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>\u00a0using uniform price method; \u00a0(ii) \u20186.10% Government Security, 2031<\/strong>\u2019 for a notified amount of\u00a0\u20b913,000 crore\u00a0<\/strong>(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>\u00a0using uniform price method and (iii)\u00a0\u20186.76% Government Security 2061\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0for a notified amount of\u00a0\u20b97,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>\u00a0using multiple price method. GoI will have the option to retain additional subscription up to \u20b92,000 crore each against one or more security\/ies. The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai on\u00a0Friday i.e.<\/strong>\u00a0October 29<\/strong>, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Up to 5% of the notified amount of the sale of the Securities will be allotted to eligible individuals and institutions as per the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.<\/p>\n

Both competitive and non-competitive bids for the auction should be submitted in electronic format on the Reserve Bank of India Core Banking Solution (E-Kuber) system on\u00a0October 29<\/strong>, 2021<\/strong>. The non-competitive bids should be submitted between\u00a010.30 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a011.00 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0and the competitive bids should be submitted between\u00a010.30 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a011.30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The result of the auctions will be announced on\u00a0October 29<\/strong>, 2021 (Friday)\u00a0<\/strong>and payment by successful bidders will be on\u00a0November 01<\/strong>, 2021 (Monday)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
