Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla reached Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra for the International Gita Mahotsav<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Chandigarh, December 11 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lok Sabha Speaker, Sh. Om Birla said that Gita does not belong to any particular language, region or religion but to the entire humanity. Sh. Om Birla had reached the International Gita Mahotsav organized in Kurukshetra on Saturday.\u00a0 During this, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was also present.<\/p>\n

Lok Sabha Speaker, Sh. Om Birla and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal first inaugurated the Jio Gita Auditorium by reaching Gita Gyan Sansthanam.\u00a0 After this, Sh. Om Birla addressed the 6th International Seminar organized at Gita Gyan Sansthanam and Kurukshetra University.\u00a0 Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Om Birla said that the historical land of Haryana, Kurukshetra is guiding the whole world in the way of living. Mahatma Gandhi himself believed that the Gita gives us new inspiration in the same way as our mother takes care of us. If there is darkness or difficulty in a person’s life, then the Gita shows us the way. Every doubt in our life can be cleared after reading a small part of the Gita Saar.<\/p>\n

Spiritual knowledge is necessary for youth<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sh. Om Birla said that in today’s digital age the youth are intellectually capable and are leading the world, if they get spiritual knowledge then life will go in the right direction.\u00a0 We should adopt the message of Gita in our life. Sh. Om Birla congratulated Sh. Manohar Lal and Gita Manishi Swami Shri Gyananand ji Maharaj for taking the International Gita Mahotsava to the country and abroad.\u00a0 He said that Gita Gyan Sansthan is trying to spread the knowledge of Gita to every household.\u00a0 Efforts are being made for comprehensive research on Lord Shri Krishna and Gita.\u00a0 This is a very commendable step.<\/p>\n

India is the land of Lord Ram and\u00a0 Lord Krishna<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sh. Om Birla said that India is the land of Lord Ram, here even after so many years, the life of Lord Ram shows us how to lead an ideal life.\u00a0 This is the land of Lord Shri Krishna, which shows the path of action.\u00a0 From here Lord Buddha showed compassion, grace, kindness and love to the world.\u00a0 That is why India is called Vishwaguru.<\/p>\n

Gita’s contribution in the freedom movement<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sh. Om Birla said that Shrimad Bhagvad Gita contributed to the freedom movement.\u00a0 The martyrs involved in the freedom movement took inspiration from the Gita to act and fight.\u00a0 Even today the ancient knowledge of Gita is relevant in our lives.\u00a0 Every person moves towards Karma Yoga after reading the Gita.<\/p>\n

Message of collective power given in COVID<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sh. Birla said that in the time of COVID, we have demonstrated how we can face the biggest challenge with our collective strength.\u00a0 Today there is a need for peace in the material world.\u00a0 We take refuge in God during happiness and sorrow; this is our culture.\u00a0 We get new inspiration from the holy book Gita and we try to govern ethically keeping in mind the expectations and aspirations of the people.\u00a0 Along with our rights, we should also follow our duties.<\/p>\n

On this occasion Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sh. Sandeep Singh, Kurukshetra MP, Sh. Naib Singh Saini, Ambala MP, Sh. Rattan Lal Kataria, Rohtak MP, Sh. Arvind Sharma, Sirsa MP, Smt. Sunita Duggal, Thanesar MLA, Sh. Subhash Sudha, Sh. Satish Kumar of Swadeshi Jagran Manch and BJP General Secretary, Sh.
