Senior officers of Health Department will be put on duty for monitoring on 1075- Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chandigarh, January 14<\/strong> – Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that two nodal officers would be appointed for each district of the State, out of which one officer would monitor the arrangements at the government hospital in each district and submit its report.\u00a0 Similarly, the second nodal officer will monitor the private hospitals of the district concerned and provide information about the arrangements available there to the State Government. Apart from this, he said that telemedicine would be made effective in Haryana and for this senior officers of the Health Department would be put on duty on the number 1075.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sh. Vij was presiding over a meeting of senior officers of Health Department and Medical Education and Research Department here today in which the current situation of COVID-19 was also discussed.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sh. Vij said that an order for 1500 kits has been placed for genome sequencing with HMCL which will be provided to the State Government in three phases.\u00a0 It was informed during the meeting that 96 samples can be tested with a single genome sequencing kit.<\/p>\n

The Health Minister said that a survey\/mapping would soon be conducted in the State for facilities like infrastructure and equipment related to health services and where they are required. Accordingly, in the coming times, infrastructure, medical equipment as well as manpower will be made available in those areas.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Apart from this, Sh. Vij said that home isolation kits would be prepared at the headquarter level and these kits would be sent to the districts soon so that they can be made available to the patients in home isolation in a time bound manner.\u00a0 Sh. Vij said that at present the health department has adequate amount of medicines and infrastructure related to it.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 During the meeting, the Health Minister urged all the parents of children between 15 to 18 years of age to get their wards vaccinated at the earliest, as when the schools open, those who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed to enter the school.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sh. Vij informed that so far 3,76,31,188 individuals have been vaccinated in Haryana out of which 2,18,80,724 have received the first dose and 1,57,09,328 individuals have received the second dose. Similarly, 41,136 precaution doses have been administered to the people.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 While directing the officers of the Health Department, Sh. Vij said that the patients living in home isolation should be monitored daily and information should be provided to them through telemedicine.\u00a0 He said that telemedicine would be made effective in Haryana and for this, senior officers of health department would be put on duty on 1075 so that they can visit e-Sanjeevani daily and make telemedicine effective. During the meeting, it was informed that at present there are about 30,000 patients under home isolation in Haryana.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It was informed in the meeting that through the e-Sanjeevani OPD app, the patients in isolation are being advised and counselled through online communications.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It was informed in the meeting that Haryana is on e-Sanjeevani OPD since May 1, 2020.\u00a0 Presently, two OPDs are functional at e-Sanjeevani OPD i.e. General OPD and Gynecology OPD and General OPD is operational to provide round the clock tele-consultation on e-Sanjeevani OPD since August 16, 2021.\u00a0 A total of 1,138 doctors are registered for providing tele-consultation on e-Sanjeevani OPD and a total of 62,582 consultations have been made on eSanjeevani OPD in Haryana so far.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Sh. Rajeev Arora, Principal Secretary, Medical Education Department Smt. G. Anupama, Managing Director, Haryana Medical Services Corporation, Sh. Saket Kumar, Mission Director, NHM, Sh. Prabhjot Singh, Director, Medical Education Department, Dr. Shaleen,\u00a0 Director General, Health Services Department, Dr. Veena Singh, and other officers of the Health Department were also present.<\/p>\n
