Chandigarh, January 15, 2022:<\/strong> Extending his heartiest greetings to Army personnel, veterans and their families on the Indian Army Day today, Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya said that valour, grit and determination of our soldiers in serving the nation have no match in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cI join the nation in saluting our brave soldiers. We shall ever be grateful to them for ensuring national security and peace, braving all odds and challenges. Adhering to the motto \u2013 Service Before Self \u2013 our soldiers make the supreme sacrifice in towards national security,\u201d said Shri Dattatraya.<\/p>\n

Lauding the great tradition of Haryana to serve the nation by joining army and other forces, he said that soldiers of the 13th Kumaon Regiment defeated several waves of Chinese army in 1962 in Rezang La and those brave soldiers were from Ahirwal of Haryana.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur soldiers including those from Haryana are known for fighting till the last bullet and last breathe and writing a new chapter of bravery and sacrifice. Their contributions towards nation building are incredible. Their matchless valour and boundless determination make them the best soldiers in the world,\u201d said Shri Dattatraya.<\/p>\n
