KARGIL, JANUARY 17, 2022:<\/strong> Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting of officials regarding developmental works under Municipal Committee (MC) Kargil.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner sought details from the officials of the respective departments regarding work progress achieved so far.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The officials from different departments shared the details of work progress achieved, pending works and undergoing or under process works.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
DC Santosh said that the meeting was aimed to get to know the concerns regarding the Central Sponsored Schemes besides State and District Capex Budgets. He emphasized on need for long term vision of planning for Kargil.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Deputy Commissioner instructed officials to frame a committee of Executive Engineers, Executing Agencies, Councilors and ward members to work smoothly and update about the issues and progress of the works.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He further directed to ensure quality and standard of works under the Municipal Committee and Urban Development and make Kargil a Smart City.<\/div>\n

DC Santosh also directed the Executive Officer, MC Kargil to popularise the centrally sponsored scheme through radio and other social media platforms. He also requested for cooperation from people in execution of works.<\/div>\n

Councilor Town, Baroo and Poyen stressed on proper planning and execution of work in town area and peripheries.<\/div>\n

Councilor Town, Haji Abbas, Councilor Baroo, Sheikh Mehdi, Councilor Poyen, Muhammad Amin, CPO Abdul Hadi, Vice president MC Kargil, Superintending Engineer PWD Circle Kargil, Ex. Engineer R&B 2nd, Exen PHE, Exen EDD (M&RE) Kargil, Exen Mechanical Division, General Manager NHIDCL, Account Officer Tourism (I\/CMC), Nodal Officer (Architect) Kargil Master Plan and all ward members of MC Kargil attended the meeting.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
