In the subsequent session, Dr Purnima Bhandari, MCM NSS Programme Officer briefed the volunteers about the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme, highlighting its objectives and the current strategies of the scheme adopted by the Government of India. Dr. Bhandari also apprised the volunteers about the eligibility condition, documents required for BBBP scheme and various initiatives launched by Government of India under the scheme such as Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Balika Samridhi Yojana, Ladli Laxmi<br \/>\nYojana, etc. During this session, a poster making competition on the theme \u2018Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao\u2019 was also organised wherein the participants presented their hand made posters virtually. In the end, the queries of the audience were addressed.<br \/>\nPrincipal Dr. Nisha Bhargava lauded this endeavour of the NSS units to spread awareness about the Government of India&#8217;s highly significant initiative to improve the efficiency of welfare services intended for girls in India.
