You can get food from the <\/span>Sanitation<\/span> Cafe if you bring one kilograms of one time use plastic. <\/span>It was started in <\/span>Nalagarh<\/span>, <\/span>Solan<\/span>, in<\/span> Panchayat <\/span>Radiyali<\/span>. <\/span>It was started by Rural <\/span>Development <\/span>Department. <\/span>It was further informed by the BDO that the initiative was taken to make India clean on the <\/span>birthday<\/span> of Narendra<\/span>Modi, the respected<\/span> Prime Minister Of India. This day was regarded auspicious enough to take such a step.<\/span> It was further told that <\/span>Jairam<\/span> Thakur, the Chief Minister, inaugurated <\/span>the cafe online given the situation of pandemic affecting the whole nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The step was taken in order to eliminate polythene and <\/span>one time use plastic from our environment. <\/span>This way the surroundings would get cleaner and people can buy food in exchange for plastic. The initiative <\/span>is a part of <\/span>Buybank<\/span> Policy of the government. <\/span><\/p>\n

Him Era: A Part Of The Cafe-<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Another initiative along with the cafe includes a shop of Him Era<\/span> wherein people from village community can sell the food items of basic needs with medicinal properties. <\/span>This would include <\/span>neem<\/span> and basil. It would grant impetus to the females of a village who are unrecognized and yet brave. The commodities would be sold at a reasonable price. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Utilisation Of An Old Building:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

It was revealed that the building is an old one which was closed since ages. The government had started the Village <\/span>Haat<\/span>Policy under which the <\/span>villagers can sell their assets to the government which can then be used for overall development. <\/span><\/p>\n

Training Of Local Women As Chefs:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Laxmi<\/span> and <\/span>Durga<\/span> Self- Help <\/span>Women <\/span>Groups<\/span>took an initiative to include women in the functioning of the cafe<\/span>.
