Chandigarh, February 12 :\u00a0 Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that farmers who are unable to sow crops due to water logging\u00a0 in their fields caused due to rainfall this season, will be given financial assistance of Rs. 7000\u00a0 per acre by the state government.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Deputy Chief Minister made this announcement\u00a0 while addressing a huge public meeting held in Matloda village of Hisar district on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Rs. 3000 per acre were given to the farmers by the state government as financial assistance.\u00a0 Now farmers will not have to spend the nights in mandis to sell their produce. Every grain of the crops of the farmers who have\u00a0 registered on the portal will be bought and the payment of the same would be made to them at the earliest, said the Deputy Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

He said that the procurement process will be further expedited through the online system.\u00a0 New procurement centers are also being set up for the purchase of wheat and mustard so that farmers do not face any problem in selling their products, added Sh. Dushyant Chautala.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the work of remodeling of canals\/rivals is in progress to provide adequate quantity of irrigated water to the farmers.<\/p>\n

An amount of Rs.\u00a0 600 crore has been released by the government to renovate all the ponds in the state.\u00a0 All 14000 ponds of the state will be renewed in two phases through modern technology, said the Deputy Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

He said that such a system would be made through which the old water would continue to be used in the agriculture field and the new water would keep coming into the pond.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Chief Minister said that as soon as the work on the runway of Maharaja Agrasen Airport is completed, the process of setting up industrial units will start here, which will create new employment opportunities for the youth of the area.<\/p>\n

The development works are being carried out by the government in a planned manner in the state, said Sh. Dushyant Chautala.<\/p>\n

\u00a0While accepting most of the demands of the demand letter submitted by the villagers, the Deputy Chief Minister announced the establishment of an industrial training institute for the children in the village as well as a modern library, so that the students can prepare themselves for various types of competitive examinations.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Chief Minister said that Haryana Kaushal Vikas Nigam has been formed to provide employment to the youth.\u00a0 The process of registration will be started soon on the portal, he added.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Meanwhile, the\u00a0 Deputy Chief Minister was accorded an unprecedented welcome on his arrival at the village Matloda. The Deputy Chief Minister himself reached the venue by driving a tractor.<\/p>\n

Addressing the gathering,\u00a0 Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh.\u00a0 Anoop Dhanak said that development works are being carried out in every village of the assembly constituency in a planned manner.<\/p>\n

Effective steps are being taken for the expansion of electricity, drinking water, irrigation, education and health services in the villages, he added<\/p>\n
