We would like to inform that Hill Council Leh in its effort towards promoting our mother language has unanimously passed a resolution by its Executive members for the inclusion of the Bhoti language in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution.<\/p>\n

The Hill Council Leh has proudly stepped towards translating the LAHDC Act 1997 in Bhoti language to which we are grateful to the Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal who had a prominent role in translating the entire LAHDC Act 1997.
