Government is taking steps in public interest with the spirit of Antyodaya<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chandigarh, February 26 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that a home is everyone\u2019s need, in such a situation, it is the duty of the developer to provide quality residences in view of the emotional attachment of the people to their homes. The Chief Minister was addressing as the Chief Guest on the concluding occasion of the two-day Urban Development Conclave organized in Gurugram on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Everyone needs a home<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister exhorted the developers that even though building construction work was a business for them, but the families who take shelter in the building make it a home, due to which they have a deep connection.\u00a0 He said that in order to provide a roof over the head of every family, the Central and State Governments are effectively fulfilling their responsibility through various public welfare schemes. He said that steps are being taken by the Haryana government in a systematic manner and in this episode, a special Department \u2018Housing for All\u2019 has been formed.\u00a0 The government has also made a plan for providing affordable housing.\u00a0 He said that the government’s resolve is that every person should get his own house, for which efforts are being made at every level. He said that just as works are being done in urban areas under Haryana Urban Development Authority, similarly other development works, including construction of houses are being implemented in rural areas under Haryana Rural Development Agency.<\/p>\n

Government is taking steps with the spirit of Antyodaya<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said that Haryana Government is playing a significant role in realizing the dream of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.\u00a0 Under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, the needy families identified through Parivar Pehchan Patra are being directly linked with the government schemes. The Chief Minister said that the government is trying to provide government services to every needy person. Not only this, it is providing employment to the identified needy families, under the Parivar Pehchan Patra, and is becoming helpful in making them self-supporting and self-respecting.\u00a0 He said that by organizing Antyodaya fairs, about 40,000 people have been benefited by connecting them with various schemes of the government and from March 2, in the second phase, Antyodaya fairs will be organised across the state.<\/p>\n

Urban Development Conclave will prove to be a milestone<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said that in the two-day Urban Development Conclave in Gurugram, open discussions were held between the developers and the allottees to solve the problems which resulted in many positive suggestions making conclave a milestone in providing better safe housing to every family.<\/p>\n

Five big cities will be built in 2.5 lakh hectares:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government has set a target of developing five big cities in 2.5 lakh hectares near Kundli Manesar-Palwal Expressway.\u00a0 Cities will be developed in an area of at least 50,000 hectares for each city.\u00a0 Facilities will be provided in these cities according to the future needs.\u00a0 The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government is also providing infrastructural facilities to the industries to promote industrialisation. Many new highways are being built in the state, this will give even more momentum to the development. Global City Project will also start in Gurugram to provide world class facilities to the people.\u00a0 This will give Haryana a unique identity in the world.<\/p>\n

On this occasion the Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. D.S.\u00a0 Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, ACS, Sh. Devender Singh, Chairman, RERA Panchkula, Sh.Rajan Gupta, Chairman, HERERA Gurugram, Dr. KK Khandelwal, CEO, GMDA, Sudhir Rajpal, Director General of Town and Country Planning, Sh. K.M. Pandurang also appreciated the working style of the government. Besides this, senior officers and officials were present here.<\/p>\n
