Chandigarh, March 3<\/strong>: Haryana Chief Minister,\u00a0Sh. Manohar Lal said that\u00a0tractors should not be included in the Policy issued by the Central Government to ban diesel vehicles and\u00a0petrol vehicles older than 10 and 15 years respectively plying\u00a0in the National Capital Region.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “Talks will be held with the Central Government and some way would be found to resolve this issue. Last time also we had got tractors excluded from the NGT Policy,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister said this while interacting with\u00a0the reporters after the discussion held\u00a0on the Governor’s address during\u00a0the second day of the ongoing budget session in the Vidhan Sabha today.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Responding to a question regarding students of Haryana stuck in Ukraine, the Chief Minister said that even today nine students have reached Mumbai airport.\u00a0Arrangements have been made to give air travel tickets from Mumbai to Delhi to these students along with a cash amount of Rs. 1000 being given on behalf of the Haryana government.\u00a0Besides\u00a0this, help desks have been set up in Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Faridabad, he added.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister said that all the Deputy Commissioners have been directed\u00a0to contact the families of such students at personal level.\u00a0Faridabad Divisional Commissioner has been made the nodal officer.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister said that the list of 1784 youths of Haryana was received from the Ministry of External Affairs, out of which 83 are not from our state.\u00a0Out of total 1701 Haryana youth, 683 have been brought back.\u00a0 With about 150 students remaining in Ukraine, they have been asked to come on border.\u00a0 Efforts are being made to bring all of\u00a0them back safely.<\/p>\n

Replying to another question, the Chief Minister said that every time the names of persons involved in drug trade and corruption are taken\u00a0in the House by members but they always fail to give\u00a0concrete evidence for the same.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “Last time we took this lightly\u00a0but this time a breach of privilege motion will be brought against such MLAs through Parliamentary Affairs Minister for making irresponsible statements,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.<\/p>\n

When asked about stopping the pension through Parivar Pehchan Patra, the Chief Minister said that the pension of any elderly person has not been stopped through PPP, but through this, about 22,000 people have been identified, who are not getting pension due to some reasons. Work for data verification of such persons is being done, he added.\u00a0 The entitled will get the pension and no one will be stopped from getting their entitlement.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Responding to another question, the Chief Minister said that a different timeline has been prescribed for the people living in different states to get the domicile certificate issued there.\u00a0 Haryana government has fixed this timeline for five years. After all, we are all Indians, he added.<\/p>\n

When asked about the stray animals, the Chief Minister said that such animals are not only from Haryana but people from states like Rajasthan, Punjab and Gujarat bring them in herds and on their way back they take only milch animals and leave others. The present government has constituted Gau Sewa Aayog and has also increased its Budget.\u00a0 Besides this, grants are also given for setting up gaushalas on Panchayati land in villages, informed Sh. Manohar Lal.\u00a0He said that ‘gomutra’, manure and small scale industries are being promoted in gaushalas.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said that the solution to the problem of stray animals is possible only with public cooperation.\u00a0 For this, along with the government, social institutions and people should also come forward.<\/p>\n

Sh. Manohar Lal said that in a democracy the opposition never praises the ruling party and this becomes a reason for the fight between the party and the opposition.<\/p>\n

Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr Amit Agrawal, Media Advisor,\u00a0Sh. Amit Arya and other officers also remained present on this occasion.<\/p>\n
