Chandigarh, March 4 \u2013<\/strong> Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the Svamitva Yojana launched by the Haryana Government to give ownership rights to people for their property has become an example for the whole country. It is noteworthy that the Central Government has launched PM Svamitva Yojana on the same lines.\u00a0 He requested all the MLAs to create awareness among the people regarding this scheme in their respective areas and cooperate with the government for its smooth implementation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, said this in response to a question asked during the budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.\u00a0 Sh. Dushyant Chautala informed that the Svamitva Yojana has been implemented in the state to make villages Lal Dora free and to provide ownership rights to the people living in rural areas.\u00a0 So far, 3,93,451 property cards have been issued under this scheme.\u00a0 Giving detailed information related to the implementation of the scheme, he said that under this scheme, online training and review meetings of departmental officers were organized regularly in the year 2020-2021.\u00a0 At the district level, the Deputy Commissioner acts as the in-charge of this scheme and along with him, the District Development and Panchayat Officer, District Revenue Officer, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Tehsildar, Village Secretary, and Revenue Patwari are also involved in this process.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Deputy Chief Minister informed the House about the process of making a Svamitva card \/ ID and said that before making a property card or ID, under Section-26 of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act 1994, the Gram Panchayat invites objections to the Gram Sabha. A window of 30 days is given by Gram Panchayat for inviting objections.\u00a0 After this, the Gram Panchayat redresses the objections, if any, received by giving an opportunity of being heard to the person registering the objection.<\/p>\n
