The 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0meeting of State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWCAMA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and approved 24 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving total proposed investment of approximately\u00a0 Rs.\u00a0 2989.44 crore and employment potential of about 5610 persons, which goes to show that the State continues to attract the investment despite of overall slowdown in the economy.<\/p>\n

The new proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of Shiva weld Mesh, VPO Burma Papri, Tehsil Nahan, district Sirmour for manufacturing of Sanitary Pad, N-95 Masks, Medical Instruments, M\/s Aditya Industries Unit-II, Kala-Amb, district Sirmour for manufacturing of M\/s Shredding Scrap, M\/s Indigram Bio Fuels Pvt.
