Chief Minister’s vision to make the villages ‘Lal Dora free’ has been adopted by the Central Government as \u2018SVAMITVA Yojana’<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chandigarh, April 15:\u00a0<\/strong> Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s vision of reaching out to those at the bottom of the pyramid while upholding the spirit of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya\u2019s Antyodaya philosophy has started turning into a reality, as after earning praises from Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi for formulating several good governance and welfare schemes, now National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sh. J.P Nadda too had showered praise on Manohar Lal-led State Government during a programme held at Gurugram on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Lauding the Chief Minister, Sh. J.P Nadda said, Sh. Manohar Lal while respecting the sentiments of the people has ensured holistic development of Haryana while upholding the true spirit of Antyodaya.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Parivar Pehchan Patra, Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana, Mhara Gaon-Jagmag Gaon Yojana, Har Ghar-Nal Se Jal and many other welfare schemes have certainly ensured the reach of the benefits to those at the bottom of the pyramid.<\/p>\n

The government aims to uplift the last person first<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 While going beyond the motto of benefitting those on the top of the pyramid, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has ensured to uplift the last person first and for this several revolutionary changes have been brought by the Chief Minister. Making Samartha Haryana is the utmost priority of the Chief Minister so as to ensure that benefits can reach the bottom of the pyramid.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>In order to financially empower the poorest families in the state, about 2.49 lakh families having an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh were identified under Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana.\u00a0 Under this scheme, 570 Melas were organized at 156 places in two phases. A Survey of 81,931 identified families was done.\u00a0 In-principle approval to applications of 52,961 families was given under various schemes of 18 departments.\u00a0 These families have also started getting loans from banks under different schemes.<\/p>\n

Chief Minister is not only concerned about each individual but every family<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The Chief Minister strongly believes the government is not only concerned about each individual but each and every family because under the State Government\u2019s ambitious Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) scheme family is considered as a unit, not an individual. It will be the most accurate document of verified data after the Aadhaar card. PPP is being made for all the families so that the family gets the benefits of government services and schemes while sitting at home and they are not required to make a frequent round to government offices.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 So far, more than 72.37 lakh families have been registered on its portal, which covers more than 2.75 crore population of the state.\u00a0 So far, the data of more than 82 percent of families have been verified. All the schemes and services are linked with the PPP portal. Now the birth and death data will also be auto-updated.\u00a0 Education Skills and Unemployment data of Youth will also be uploaded on this portal. The government is also going to do the work of making ration cards through this portal. Also, the benefits of old-age pension have also been linked with PPP and now if a person attains the prescribed age for getting an old-age pension, his pension will automatically start.<\/p>\n

Chief Minister is ensuring equitable development in the state<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The Chief Minister while working on the guiding principles of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas\u2019 as given by the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi is ensuring equitable development in all the 90 Assembly Constituencies of the State. As many as 17 new national highways were declared in the state, out of which work on 11 is in progress. After their construction, every district will be connected to the national highway. Similarly, work is going on the project of the Delhi\u2013Panipat Regional Rapid Transit System (Delhi\u2013Panipat RRTS) to be built costing about Rs.\u00a0 30,000 crore. The work of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) connecting Palwal to Sonipat via Sohna, Manesar and Kharkhouda costing Rs. 6000 crore is also going on. Traffic has started on the Sonipat-Jind railway line. The work of the country’s first elevated railway line in Rohtak has been completed. The work of Rohtak-Meham-Hansi and Karnal-Yamunanagar railway line and elevated railway line in Kurukshetra has started. The state’s first international airport is being built in Hisar.<\/p>\n

Agricultural reform and upliftment of farmers is the main target<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister is moving ahead with the goal of bringing agricultural reforms and upliftment of farmers. He believes that if the farmer will prosper only then there will be prosperity in the state. Whether it is doing procurement of crops on MSP or giving compensation for crop loss due to natural calamity, the government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the farmers while adopting \u2018Beej se Bazar Tak\u2019 approach.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The compensation amount for crops damaged by natural calamity has been increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 per acre. Stamp duty on farmers’ transactions with banks has been reduced from Rs 2000 to Rs 100. Haryana is the only state in the country to procure 14 crops at MSP. The price of sugarcane has been increased to Rs 362 per quintal, which is the highest in the country.<\/p>\n

Besides this, Haryana has also started ‘Meri Fasal-Mera Byora Portal’ so that the farmer does not face any problem in selling their produce and subsequently he also gets subsidy, fertilizers, seeds and loans on time.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 From Kharif season 2021, Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana has also been started for Bajra also. Under this scheme, Bhavantar amount of Rs. 436 crore has been given to 2.4 lakh farmers for Bajra procurement considering the difference between the average market price and the Minimum Support Price at the rate of Rs. 600 per quintal. Agroforestry has also been included in the ‘Mera Pani-Meri Virasat’ scheme launched for crop diversification and water conservation.<\/p>\n

Village development top priority<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister believes that the development path of any state passes through the villages and for this simple reason ensuring the development of villages is the top priority of the State Government.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Haryana is the first state in the country to provide Functional Household Tap Connection to every household under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The scheme of making the villages ‘Lal Dora Mukt’ has been implemented by the Central Government as ‘SVAMITVA\u2019 Yojana’ across the country.\u00a0 So far 6,487 villages have been covered under this scheme and about 4 lakh families of 3073 villages have been given property cards under this scheme.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Electricity is the basis of development and while realizing the same, under the ‘Mhara Gaon Jagmag Gaon Yojna’, about 80 percent i.e. about 5600 villages of the state are being provided 24 hours electricity. Besides this, ‘Gram Darshan Portal’ has been started to digitize rural areas. This portal is the cyber face of the villages. Digital data of 6197 Gram Panchayats has been made available on this portal.<\/p>\n
