Chief Minister congratulates newly-elected Rajya Sabha MP, Krishna Lal Panwar and Independent MP Karthikeya Sharma<\/b><\/p>\n

Both the MPs will go to Rajya Sabha and raise the issues in the interests of the State in the House, Manohar Lal<\/p>\n

Chandigarh, June 11<\/strong> \u2013 Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has congratulated BJP MP, Sh.\u00a0 Krishna Lal Panwar, and Sh. Karthikeya Sharma, an independent MP for their victory in the Rajya Sabha elections.<\/p>\n

He said that this is the victory of the people of Haryana.\u00a0 Both the MPs will go to the Rajya Sabha and raise the issues in the interests of Haryana.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister himself reached the Haryana Legislative Assembly at around 2 am and congratulated both the newly elected MPs and offered sweets to them.<\/p>\n

Responding to a question, the Chief Minister said that the total number of MLAs in the Haryana Legislative Assembly is 90.\u00a0 During the Rajya Sabha elections, one MLA did not cast his vote while the vote of a Congress MLA was cancelled.\u00a0 With this, the total number of MLAs became\u00a0 88.\u00a0Whichever candidate gets one-third of the total number of votes in the Rajya Sabha,\u00a0wins.<\/p>\n

The candidate who will fall short of this winning figure will lose.\u00a0 One-third of the 88 MLAs in the Haryana Legislative Assembly is 29.34.\u00a0 By combining the first and second preferences, the numbers of both the candidates have this number, whereas\u00a0 Congress candidate failed to score this number and were defeated.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said that recounting was also done once during the election.<\/p>\n

MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi heeded to the voice of his inner\u00a0soul.
\n<\/b>Responding to a question, Chief Minister said that MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi has cast an open vote. He heard his inner soul voice. He must have done this only after being impressed by the policies of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and his government said Sh. Manohar Lal.<\/p>\n

Sh. Kuldeep Bishnoi has heard the voice of his inner soul to connect with the emotion of the Nation, said the Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

BJP’s one-day training overshadowed\u00a0 Congress’s one-week long training
\n<\/b>
\nResponding to another question, the Chief Minister said that he does not know how one vote of Congress was cancelled but BJP got all the votes.<\/p>\n

The Congress had trained its MLAs for a week before this election, but the BJP’s one-day training had overshadowed their training.\u00a0 They failed and we passed, said Sh. Manohar Lal.<\/p>\n
