Chandigarh, June 14 :-<\/strong> Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that whatever infrastructure is required to take adventure forward on the lines of regular sports in the state, it will be provided so that every youth can become a participant in adventure. Along with this, tourism business will be promoted in Haryana through adventure sports.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said this while flagging off a mountaineering team of school students organized by the School Education Department and Adventure Club here today.\u00a0 He said that adventure runs in the life of the villages of Haryana.\u00a0 Therefore, by training the youth, they will be brought into the business of adventure sports.<\/p>\n

Establishing Milkha Singh Club<\/b>
\nThe Chief Minister said that to promote adventure activities in Haryana, Sardar Milkha Singh Club has been established at Morni, due to which many activities are being conducted in this area.<\/p>\n

Apart from this, trekking routes are also being explored in the Aravalli hills for the youth so that adventure structure can be increased in South Haryana also.\u00a0 He said that 1000 youth will be made capable by giving adventure training.\u00a0 The young generation is the future of the country and it is the government’s responsibility to develop sports skills in youth so that they can become productive citizens of the country.\u00a0 He said that the government is coming up with such programmes to fulfill the expectations of the youth so that they can become self-reliant and take the country towards progress.<\/p>\n

Haryana is number one in service, security and sports<\/b>
\nThe Chief Minister said that Haryana is number one in service, security and sports.\u00a0 Haryana’s youth have won more than 19 percent gold medals even after having just two percent of the country’s population.\u00a0 Haryana is the capital of the country in sports.\u00a0 Its result has been seen in Khelo India and Haryana has been ranked first in the country.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said that along with education, youth are also participating in sports and other activities. The government has done the work of providing better infrastructure in every sector.<\/p>\n

Mountaineering unique scheme for school students<\/b>
\nA unique scheme of mountaineering has been implemented for the school students of the state.\u00a0 Under this, a student who climbs any one of the 10 highest peaks of the mountains is awarded an amount of Rs 5 lakh.\u00a0 He said that all the mountaineers should aim to progress in their chosen field.\u00a0 Highest financial assistance is being given to mountaineers in Haryana.<\/p>\n

The message given to make Haryana strong<\/b>
\nThe Chief Minister said that this time 100 students are participating in the mountaineering team.\u00a0 Of these, 22 are handicapped.\u00a0 He interacted directly with the mountaineering students and learned about the challenges and problems faced by them.\u00a0 He gave a message to the mountaineering team to overcome any difficulty with courage.\u00a0 He said that once you move forward, you will become strong.\u00a0 In Haryana, one who moves ahead with body, intellect and strength is called Dhakad.\u00a0 The students expressed their joy over this. The Chief Minister had a direct conversation with Sanjali of Kaithal, Manju of Gurugram, Jaideep of Sonepat and deaf and dumb Muskan and Gaurav and announced a grant of Rs. 5 lakh to Adventure Club from his voluntary fund.<\/p>\n

School students increased the courage of the government, Sh. Kanwar Pal<\/b>
\nHaryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal said that an amount of Rs. 40 lakh will be spent on the 13-day mountaineering programme by the School Education Academic Cell.\u00a0 School students have given good results in every field.\u00a0 After the great success of the Super 100 programme, the Chief Minister, has started this programme from four more places by making it Super 500.\u00a0 Apart from this, the work of giving tablets to the students of class X to XII has been done so that the students studying in government schools of Haryana do not lag behind in the latest technology.\u00a0 He said that exciting activities become a part of student life.\u00a0 Those going in this mountaineering team will climb the Bharatpur Yunam peak of Lahaul at a height of 6111 meters.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, working president of Adventure Club and former Chief Secretary of Haryana, Sh. SC Chaudhary and Director of Fundamental School Education, Dr. Anshaj Singh also expressed their views.<\/p>\n
