Both the officials have been booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sharing the information here today, the spokesperson of the Bureau said that the first case is related to Sonipat district, wherein the Bureau team had caught Ved Parkash, Superintendent of DC office while accepting bribe money of Rs 20,000 from a clerk of the DRO office, Sonipat for clearing his transfer file.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In his complaint, Jitender Singh informed that he wanted a transfer from the DRO Office, Sonepat, to the SDM office, Gannaur and his file was pending with Ved Prakash. For clearing his file, the Superintendent demanded Rs 30,000 from him, of which he had already given Rs 10,000 to him. After verifying the complaint, Bureau team laid a trap and caught Ved Prakash red-handed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In another case, Sub-Inspector (SI) Anil Kumar posted at Police Station Jatusana, Rewari has been caught red-handed taking Rs 4,000 bribe from complainant Rajender of village Bhondu Bhautwas.
