Chandigarh, August 2 –<\/strong> The eight-digit Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) prepared by the new Citizen Resource Information Department constituted as per the vision of Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, is proving to be an effective document for the people of the state.\u00a0 As soon as a citizen completes the age of 60 years, his name automatically gets included in the list of beneficiaries of the old age samman allowance scheme.\u00a0 Now he neither has to go to any office nor does he need to please with anyone for the same.<\/p>\n

About 5000 new pensions are being distributed every month<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As soon as a person attains the age of 60 years, their name is automatically included in the list from the PPP. According to departmental information, about 5000 new pensions are being made every month.\u00a0 People are considering the PPP as an effective document.\u00a0 This has proved to be a document through which the benefits of all government schemes\/services have started reaching the eligible person.\u00a0 So far, more than 70 lakh families have been registered on this portal, which covers 2.76 crore population, out of which the data of about 86 percent families has been verified.\u00a0 Data on education, skill and unemployment of youth has also been put on this portal.<\/p>\n

Under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Utthan Parivar Yojana, 28,000 people have been sanctioned loans for self-employment through banks<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Haryana has truly embodied the principle of Antyodaya of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. For this a new Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Utthan Parivar Yojana was implemented.\u00a0 The objective of the scheme is to increase the income of such families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh, to Rs. 1.80 lakh.\u00a0 For this also the data of Parivar Pehchan Patra was used and Antyodaya Melas were organized in three phases for about 3.50 lakh families whose income was less than Rs. 1 lakh.\u00a0 In which more than 1.50 lakh people participated and 28,000 people were sanctioned loans of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2 lakh for self-employment, which truly fulfills the basic mantra of Antyodaya.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Even to such beneficiaries, the Chief Minister himself distributes the letter of sanctioned loan with his own hands and asks what the beneficiary intends to do with the loan. The Chief Minister believes that if given an opportunity, self-employment can improve the life ahead, not only this, the Chief Minister himself also appeals to the people to repay the loan taken on time.<\/p>\n
