Acting Chairman\/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Mubarak Shah Naqvi today chaired a preparatory meeting with regard to Principal Secretary School Education Department, Housing & Urban Development Department and Information Technology’s upcoming visit to Kargil.<\/div>\n

Executive Councilor Tourism Er Phunsok Tashi, Executive Councilor Social Welfare Syed Mehdi Fazily, SE R&B, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Kargil, CEO Kargil, OSD to CEC Kargil besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.<\/div>\n

During the meeting, the acting CEC asked to forward the status of development works undergoing in the district under Education, Housing and Urban Development besides other concerned departments to mitigate on various issues with the Principal Secretary UT Ladakh. He also sought list of pending works ongoing in the concerned departments.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
With regards to R&B Department, the acting CEC was informed that the road and other development works allotted to NHIDCL have not been completed and should be handed over to concerned department before September 15 after that blacktopping work can’t be done smoothly.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He said no major development is seen under Education and Urban Development that were allotted to NHIDCL which needs to be taken seriously with the Principal Secretary and permanent resolve on the matter needs to be taken immediately.<\/div>\n

The Acting EC also took an assessment of the works under the Municipal Committee Kargil.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Regarding the three newly announced Higher Secondary Schools, the issue of permanent post creation and time-bound promotion also needs to be discussed with the Principal Secretary, he said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
