The activities included a Poetry Recitation Competition, a Quiz on Gandhian Life and Philosophy, and administering oaths of Swadeshi and Swachhta. Over 30 students recited self-composed poems, in Hindi and English, based on the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.<\/p>\n<p>The quiz on Gandhian Life and Philosophy also witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the students. The oath of Swadeshi and Swachhta was administered to the students on this occasion wherein they pledged to use Swadeshi and promote \u2018Vocal for Local\u2019, and also to promote and practice Swachhta.<\/p>\n<p>Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava recited a self-composed poem, paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, and addressed him as the ambassador of peace, truth, and non-violence.
