Drug Wing of Drugs and Food Control Organization, UT Ladakh today organized an awareness program on drug abuse at Government Model Degree College Zanskar.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Assistant Drug Controller, UT Ladakh, Bashir Ahmad and Field Investigator Nazia Kauser, presented a presentation and briefed on the topic.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Assistant Drug Controller spoke at length on drug addiction and appealed the students not to get indulged in any kind of drugs whether it may be smoking, alcohol or other dangerous forms of drugs.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He said that drug trafficking and trading is a big challenge and most important people should be made aware about the menace. He said together people can make a big difference in controlling and preventing drug addiction.<\/div>\n

The program was attended by teachers, pharmacists, chemists and civil society members of Padum Zanskar. Incharge BMO, Dr. Nawang Chosden and doctors of CHC Zanskar were also present during the program.<\/div>\n

Dr. Nawang also spoke on the occasion and gave awareness to participants about many drugs and its abuse. Participants were briefed about ill effects of drug menace its effect on society.<\/div>\n

Incharge Principal GMDC Zanskar Isaq and Dr Kulsum also spoke on the occasion. They highlighted various drugs and their negative impact on society. They emphasized on the various problems that drug addicts suffer throughout their life.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
