The resource person for this workshop was macrame enthusiast Mrs. Vandana Syal, Associate Professor in Computer Science and Applications at the college. A total of 22 students participated in the workshop and got hands-on training in the techniques of this versatile form of fiber art. The participants created beautiful and artistic wall hangings and plant hangers with cascade of patterns using this art form. The unique artistic pieces created by the participants were appreciated by everyone.<br \/>\nPrincipal Dr. Nisha Bhargava expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Women Development Cell to empower students by equipping them with skills that will not only help them develop their creative acumen but also provide employment.
