Record of every inch of land in the state will be maintained, Chief Minister<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chief Minister chairs meeting regarding the large scale mapping project<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chandigarh, November 3<\/strong> \u2013 Haryana Chief Minister said that digital record of every inch of land in the state will be maintained to have a real time data about number of ponds, road or infrastructure.<\/p>\n

He directed the Survey of India and the Revenue Department to complete the large scale mapping project for this work at the earliest.\u00a0\u00a0During this, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala also remained present.<\/p>\n

While presiding over the meeting with the officers concerned associated with this project, the Chief Minister directed that the concerned department should complete the technical works related to the large scale mapping project in each village sequentially so that no work remains pending in any village.<\/p>\n

With this, the project should also be completed in a systematic manner across the state. Once the work of large scale mapping project is completed, Haryana would set an example for the entire country, added Sh. Manohar Lal.<\/p>\n

Complete mapping of outer parts of the villages should be done in large scale mapping<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister directed the officers that complete mapping should be done outside the villages as well while executing large scale mapping.\u00a0\u00a0This should also include houses and other infrastructural constructions built in the fields outside the village.<\/p>\n

He further directed the officers of Survey of India to complete this large scale mapping work at the earliest by increasing the workforce of the employees.<\/p>\n

The work of large scale mapping of 8 urban areas has also been completed<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the meeting, the team of Revenue and Survey of India apprised the Chief Minister that the work of large scale mapping has also been completed in 8 urban areas of Jind, Karnal and Sonipat districts.\u00a0\u00a0With this, each property in these areas can now be identified.\u00a0\u00a0In this, information about the area of the property, its location on the map and details of the property owner can also be easily obtained.\u00a0\u00a0The Chief Minister also congratulated the officials on the completion of this work.<\/p>\n

Additional Chief Secretary, and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. V S Kundu, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department,\u00a0\u00a0Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister,\u00a0\u00a0Sh. V. Umashankar and other senior officers also remained present in this meeting.<\/p>\n
