The great actor of Bollywood, <\/span>Sonu<\/span> Sood<\/span>, has done an amazing work recently. He launched a scholarship for Indian <\/span>Administrative Services (IAS) aspirants. <\/span>It\u2019s just another medal added to his great works. <\/span>Sonu<\/span> Sood<\/span> took this decision on the 13<\/span>th<\/span> Death Anniversary of his mother, <\/span>Saroj<\/span> Sood<\/span>, on 13<\/span>th<\/span> October, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sonu<\/span> Sood<\/span> has been known to <\/span>have made<\/span> several contributions to the society. When the pandemic hit the country and several<\/span> migrants were left stranded, he came to their rescue. He has also funded education of several children. <\/span>The great actor had earlier launched <\/span>Scholify<\/span>, <\/span>a scholarship for all the Indian students. <\/span>His humanitarian efforts are being appreciated every where and for his great work<\/span>s <\/span>he was also awarded <\/span>the Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). <\/span><\/p>\n

Sonu<\/span> Sood<\/span> resorted to social media to announce the scholarship wherein he addressed that his mother<\/span> left behind a legacy of Education and to honour her efforts, <\/span>he is announcing a scholarship for IAS <\/span>aspirants. He named it as Professor <\/span>Saroj<\/span> Sood<\/span> Scholarship. <\/span>This scholarship would be helpful for children who come from weaker sections of the society or poor students who cannot afford the books and material required to prepare for <\/span>the exams. It was found that several poor children gave up their dream of IAS due to lack of resources and guidance. <\/span>This initiative might be a turning point for these students. <\/span><\/p>\n

The actor has been praised by other Bollywood stars on social media. <\/span>Earlier this year, he had also helped JEE and NEET students <\/span>in Haryana by offering them mobile phones to make study material accessible to them. <\/span><\/p>\n
