The SAT exam is popular among students eager to study abroad in a graduate program. The exam essentially evaluates <\/span>student’s<\/span> learning from high school and requires skills set during college to <\/span>proceed<\/span> in the course of their choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many foreign colleges and universities require submission of SAT scores as part of the admissions process (mostly in the US).<\/span><\/p>\n

The exam for students is divided into three sections \u2013 Reading Test, Writing and Language Test and Mathematics Test. In addition, there is an optional essay section.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is The Math Test In SAT Exam<\/span>?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mathematics is an important part of the SAT exam. As a future problem-solver, it is necessary to examine how a university student breaks a large problem into smaller parts and defines its structure before arriving at a solution.<\/span><\/p>\n

SAT Math Test Structure<\/span><\/p>\n

In the SAT exam, two sections have been dedicated to <\/span>Maths<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n

Section 3:<\/strong> <\/span>Mathematics (non calculator) consists of 20 questions to be solved in 25 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Section 4:<\/strong> <\/span>Maths (calculator) section consists of answering 38 questions in 55 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

To do well in the Mathematics section of the SAT, it is important to break the syllabus into three major areas:<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategy For Math Section Preparation<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Clarity and Confidence<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

To do well in SAT mathematics, one must focus on two things \u2013 clarity and confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of these, confidence <\/span>should be<\/span> slightly higher and <\/span>at the same time<\/span> the main focus should be on clarity in terms of concepts and application.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Practice Within The Time Limit<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

After receiving orders on subjects, it will be very necessary for a student to write tests within the sectional time frame.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Analysis Of Practice Tests<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

The test should be <\/span>analysed<\/span> in-depth before attempting the next practice test. While doing the practice test, there should not be a target score, but rather try different types of questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Increase Ability Slowly<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

Initially, it will take time to develop an understanding of a topic and its application. Students are required to give the <\/span>subjects a fixed<\/span> time.
