In connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations, the Traffic Police department\u00a0 issued a route plan to ferry devotees from various areas of the Valley to Dargah Hazratbal Srinagar and back. According to Traffic Police Srinagar arrangements have been made for the devotees to make sure their hassle free and safe travel from North, South and Central Kashmir to Hazratbal. As per the route plan the vehicles carrying devotees from North Kashmir after reaching Shalteng shall adopt the Shalteng \u2013 Parimpora – Qamarwari \u2013 Cement Bridge \u2013 Noorbagh \u2013 Sekidafar \u2013 Eidgah \u2013 Aali Masjid \u2013 Sazgaripora \u2013 Hawal – Alamgari Bazar – Mill Stop – Molvi Stop (Lal Bazaar) – Botshah Mohallah \u2013 Kanitar – to reach Hazratbal, Shrine with parking facility inside University Campus through Sir Syed Gate (Sadrabal Side) While as the Vehicles carrying devotees from South Kashmir after reaching Panthachowk shall adopt the Panthachowk – Stone Quarry(Athawajan) \u2013 Batwara – Sonwar Bazar – Ram Munshi Bagh – Gupkar – Grand Palace – Zetiyar Ghat \u2013 Nishat – Foreshore Road \u2013 Habbak Crossing to reach Hazratbal, Shrine \u00a0with parking facility inside Naseem Bagh University Campus through Budshah Gate(Habbak Side).<\/p>\n

The vehicles carrying devotees from Budgam and adjoining areas shall adopt the Hyderpora \u2013 Tangpora \u2013 Bemina Bypass \u2013 Bemina Crossing \u2013 Qamarwari \u2013 Cement Bridge – Noorbagh \u2013 Sekidafar \u2013 Eidgah \u2013 Aali Masjid \u2013 Sazgaripora \u2013 Hawal – Alamgari Bazar – Mill Stop – Molvi Stop (Lal Bazaar) – Botshah Mohallah \u2013 Kanitar route to reach Hazratbal, Shrine and parking facility inside University Campus through Sir Syed Gate (Sadrabal Side Parking).<\/p>\n

For vehicles from Lal Chowk to Dargah they shall adopt the route from Lal Chowk via SRTC Crossing – Ikhwan Chowk – Khanyar\u00a0Chowk – Bohri Kadal – Rajouri Kadal – Gojwara Chowk –\u00a0Hawal – Alamgari Bazar – Mill Stop – Moulvi Stop (Lal Bazaar) – Botshah Mohallah \u2013 Kanitar –\u00a0<\/strong>NIT Parking<\/p>\n

Other than that the vehicles generated locally from Rainawari to Hazratbal Shrine shall also park their vehicles at NIT Parking. While vehicles from Ganderbal shall adopt Nagbal \u2013 Zakoora \u2013 Habbak \u2013 Naseembagh with parking facility inside Naseem Bagh University Campus through Budshah Gate (Habbak Side).<\/p>\n

On return from Hazratbal, Northbound vehicles shall take Sir Syed Parking \u2013 Ashahibagh Crossing \u2013 Rainawari \u2013 Khanyar \u2013 Nowpora \u2013 Dalgate \u2013 M.A Road \u2013 Budshah Bridge \u2013 Over Flyover \u2013 Batamaloo \u2013 Moominabad – Tengpora \u2013 Bemina Byepass \u2013 Parimpora \u2013 Shaltang \u2013 and onwards route. South Kashmir bound vehicles shall take Naseembagh Parking \u2013 Habbak Crossing \u2013 Foreshore Road \u2013 Nishat \u2013 Zethiyar Ghat \u2013 Gupkar \u2013 Ram Munshibagh \u2013 Sonwar Bazar \u2013 Panthachowk \u2013 onwards route.<\/p>\n

Budgam bound vehicles shall take NIT \u2013 Ashahibagh Crossing \u2013 Rainawari \u2013 Khanyar \u2013 Nowpora \u2013 Dalgate \u2013 Golf Crossing \u2013 Radio Kashmir \u2013 Abdullah Bridge \u2013 Hatric \u2013 Convent Crossing \u2013 P\/S Rajbagh \u2013 Jawhar nagar Chowk \u2013 Jawharnagar Bund \u2013 Rambagh \u2013 Barzullah Bridge \u2013 Sadder \u2013 Hyderpora \u2013 onwards route.<\/p>\n

Ganderbal bound vehicles shall take Naseembagh Parking \u2013 Habbak \u2013 Zakoora \u2013 Nagbal and onwards route.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Lal Chowk bound vehicles shall follow NIT parking \u2013 Ashahibagh Crossing \u2013 Rainwari \u2013 Khanyar \u2013 Nowpora Bridge \u2013 Khayam Chowk \u2013 Dalgate \u2013 M.A Road \u2013 Lal Chowk route plan.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Traffic police have asked devotees to follow the plan in letter and spirit and drive through provided route and board\/de-board buses at designated bus stops, besides park vehicles at given spaces only.<\/p>\n
