The Government of India (GoI) has announced the sale (re-issue) of (i)\u00a0\u201c7.37% Government Security 2028<\/strong>\u201d for a notified amount of\u00a0\u20b97,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through price based auction using\u00a0uniform price<\/strong>\u00a0method, (ii) \u201c7.18% Government Security 2033<\/strong>\u201d for a notified amount of\u00a0\u20b916,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through price based auction using\u00a0uniform price<\/strong>\u00a0method and (iii) \u201c7.46% Government Security 2073<\/strong>\u201d for a notified amount of\u00a0\u20b910,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through price based auction using\u00a0multiple price<\/strong>\u00a0method. GoI will have the option to retain additional subscription up to \u20b92,000 crore against each security mentioned above. The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai\u00a0on December 15, 2023 (Friday).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Up to 5% of the notified amount of the sale of the securities will be allotted to eligible individuals and institutions as per the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.<\/p>\n

Both competitive and non-competitive bids for the auction should be submitted in electronic format on the Reserve Bank of India Core Banking Solution (E-Kuber) system on\u00a0December 15, 2023<\/strong>. The non-competitive bids should be submitted between\u00a010:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.\u00a0<\/strong>and the competitive bids should be submitted between\u00a010:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The result of the auctions will be announced on\u00a0December 15, 2023 (Friday)<\/strong>\u00a0and payment by successful bidders will be on\u00a0December 18, 2023 (Monday).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Securities will be eligible for \u201cWhen Issued\u201d trading in accordance with the guidelines on \u2018When Issued transactions in Central Government Securities\u2019 issued by the Reserve Bank of India vide circular No. RBI\/2018-19\/25 dated July 24, 2018 as amended from time to time.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
