The participants were from Maldives, Tanzania, Niger, Tajikistan, Seychelles, Argentina and Botswana.<\/p>\n<p>GMSH-16 was chosen for this study tour as it is the oldest hospital in the city, \u00a0recognized\u00a0for its prompt and efficient services.\u00a0The objective was the demonstration of best practices in nursing care &#8211; implementation of\u00a0kayakalp,\u00a0LaQshya\u00a0and other initiatives intending for these practices to be replicated by the participants upon their return to the respective countries.<\/p>\n<p>The visiting Nursing Practitioners were divided into four groups and through a welldesigned and co-ordinated tour plan, they were taken to various workstations of the Govt. Multi Speciality Hospital such as Emergency, ICU, OT, Pvt Wards, Labour Room, Maternity OT and OPDs where designated staff briefed them on the above topics.<\/p>\n<p>Following this,\u00a0there was a discussion and feedback session which was\u00a0chaired by\u00a0Director Health &amp; Family Welfare-cum-Mission\u00a0Director(NHM).\u00a0Medical Superintendent, Dy. Medical Superintendent, Nodal Officer-NHM and District Family Welfare Officer\u00a0were also present during the session.
