This Tug is a proud flag bearer of \u201cMake in India\u201d initiative of Govt of India.<\/p>\n<p>Contract for construction and delivery of six 25T BP Tugs was concluded with M\/s TRSL, Kolkata in consonance with\u00a0\u201c<em>Aatmanirbhar<\/em>\u00a0<em>Bharat<\/em>\u201d initiative of the Government of India. These Tugs are being built under the classification rules of Indian Register of Shipping (IRS). The availability of Tugs will provide impetus to Operational commitments of\u00a0<strong><em>IN<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by facilitating assistance to Naval ships and submarines during berthing and un-berthing, turning and manoeuvring in confined waters.
