An \u00a0unmarried youth \u00a0from \u00a0a small village of \u00a0Birbhum district \u00a0of West \u00a0Bengal\u00a0was searching for a \u00a0good \u00a0guide\u00a0to\u00a0start \u00a0his\u00a0own \u00a0enterprise. With\u00a0his limited\u00a0computer knowledge,\u00a0he\u00a0managed to find \u00a0a \u00a0name\u00a0–\u00a0MGIRI and \u00a0immediately \u00a0he\u00a0started contacting MGIRI for\u00a0his\u00a0entrepreneurial development. After getting ample knowledge from MGIRI through mobile, he went physically to\u00a0MGIRI\u00a0and met scientific\u00a0team\u00a0of Khadi\u00a0& textile division and explained about his\u00a0desire\u00a0to start\u00a0his\u00a0own enterprise in his\u00a0locality.\u00a0When enquired about his background\u00a0it\u00a0was found that he\u00a0is\u00a0not\u00a0even a graduate ,he belonged to a family which was working on\u00a0dyeing\u00a0since past 20 years.\u00a0He wanted to grow\u00a0more\u00a0in the same\u00a0field\u00a0and start\u00a0his\u00a0own enterprise. He was informed about\u00a0the\u00a0basic requirements\u00a0to\u00a0start his own enterprise and\u00a0how to\u00a0grow stage\u00a0by\u00a0stage at\u00a0MGIRI during his\u00a0first visit. Agreeing\u00a0to\u00a0the guidance of\u00a0MGIRI,\u00a0he\u00a0joined\u00a0for skill\u00a0development training\u00a0on dyeing of Khadi with\u00a0natural dyes\u00a0from 09.06.2016 to 29.06.2016.<\/p>\n

Soon after the completion of\u00a0his\u00a0training at MGIRI,\u00a0he\u00a0started\u00a0preparations\u00a0for starting\u00a0his\u00a0own enterprise at\u00a0his\u00a0own village i.e, \u00a0Benepukur\u00a0para,\u00a0Post\u00a0–\u00a0Suri,\u00a0Dist. Birbhum, West Bengal.\u00a0As he was\u00a0planning\u00a0to start his\u00a0business\u00a0at micro\u00a0level,\u00a0the\u00a0funds\u00a0required for\u00a0the\u00a0same were arranged by\u00a0his\u00a0family.\u00a0In August, 2016 his own enterprise called “KARUANGAN” where\u00a0in\u00a0Batik,\u00a0Natural dyeing,\u00a0Tie &\u00a0Dye,\u00a0Shibori\u00a0laharia, etc is being\u00a0done\u00a0on cotton and silk fabric material\u00a0has been\u00a0started.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0has employed\u00a05\u00a0persons and started\u00a0his\u00a0traditional\u00a0dyeing unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At present 100 mtrs of\u00a0fabric per\u00a0day can\u00a0be\u00a0either dyed or\u00a0printed.\u00a0The\u00a0dyed\u00a0or\u00a0printed\u00a0material is\u00a0being\u00a0marketed through sales outlet in\u00a0local market.\u00a0He\u00a0also participates in all the exhibitions, local, district, state and\u00a0national\u00a0level\u00a0across the country for marketing of his material and fetches a monthly income of around\u00a0Rs.\u00a050,000.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0is in constant\u00a0touch\u00a0with Khadi &\u00a0Textile\u00a0division of\u00a0MGIRI\u00a0and gets\u00a0technical\u00a0guidance\u00a0in\u00a0traditional\u00a0dyeing &\u00a0printing\u00a0techniques,\u00a0designs\u00a0and marketing strategy. At\u00a0present\u00a0he has been successful in\u00a0registering\u00a0his unit \u00a0for exports.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
