The School Education Department has issued instructions to the district collectors to launch an awareness campaign against spreading of misleading information media related to paper leak of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education Board examinations as well as other examinations in the state on social. Both the Divisional Joint Director of Education Department and District Education Officer have been instructed to actively cooperate in this campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commissioner of Public Instruction, Smt. Anubha Srivastava informed that as the board examinations approach, many fraud groups engaged in cheating students become active on social media. These groups create confusion by spreading false information. Many groups demand money and provide fake papers to the students. Apart from this, this group also connects students to various apps that provide gaming and other harmful content.<\/span>\u00a0Consequently, students and their parents have to face financial loss as well as mental distress. This group fraudulently obtains UPI details from students and also blackmails them. To stop these activities, the School Education Department is trying to run a public awareness campaign in collaboration with voluntary organizations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Appeal made to share information immediately<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The School Education Department has appealed to parents and students not to rely on such proposals received through social media and other means, and report it to the District Education Officer\u2019s office and the Collectorate. Immediate police action will be taken against these social groups. The department has asked all government and private schools to be alert in this matter. School managers have been asked to make students aware about this.<\/span><\/p>\n

Appeal by School Education Minister Shri Singh<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In view of such incidents in the past, School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh had also given instructions to the Board of Secondary Education and departmental officers of School Education to launch public awareness in a recent meeting. He had told the Board officials that strict legal punitive action should be taken against the persons found guilty in the paper leak case. He said that the department will now take strict action against those who leak papers and create confusion. The School Education Minister has given instructions to the departmental officers to continuously review the situation and keep him informed.<\/span><\/p>\n
