The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohithosted the\u00a0\u2018At Home\u2019 function\u00a0in the lawns of Punjab Raj\u00a0Bhavan, Chandigarh on the occasion of Republic Day of India,\u00a0on Friday.<\/p>\n

The function began at around 4.00 pm with the arrival of the Governor who was given a ceremonial welcome by a\u00a0policeband.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Punjab Raj\u00a0Bhavan\u00a0was decorated\u00a0tastefully\u00a0wherein\u00a0eminent people from different walks of life and sections of the society gathered. The Governor greeted the guests and exchanged pleasantries with them.<\/p>\n

During the function, the Foundation Day of\u00a0Union Territory of\u00a0Dadra-Nagar Haveli,Daman and Diu\u00a0was\u00a0also celebrated. The Governor extended his heartfelt greetings to all\u00a0present\u00a0and the countrymen on the\u00a0foundation\u00a0day of\u00a0Dadra-Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, a beautiful cultural performance of music and dance was presented by the artists of North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC).<\/p>\n

Patriotic songs were also played throughout the event.<\/p>\n
