According to estimates, more than 1.2 billion students are out of a classroom, which means they are getting ample opportunities to respond and adapt in the evolving digital age. This has not only increased the use of technology in the educational sector, but has also become a mandate for working professionals to enhance their skills and to appear in the league.<\/p>\n

There is no doubt in accepting the fact that the <\/span>C<\/span>ovid-19 epidemic has led to a tremendous increase in dependence on technology and digital media due to social disturbances and travel restrictions. From bringing individuals together to strengthening the reach of the business, digital media has emerged as an integral channel to survive in the market. As digitization and technology have become precursors to the economy, it is imperative to understand how they are re-arranging the <\/span>trends in the higher education landscape. Following the outbreak of the ongoing epidemic, trends in digital social media management such as digital marketing, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and MBAs are handling other traditional disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the current uncertainties and new education policy (NEP) guidelines, students enrolled in MBA and B-schools are now confused about the institutions\u2019 commitments to provide the desired placement assistance. On the other hand, B-schools have cut their <\/span>se<\/span>mesters and course duration to manage course completion. This means that there is a deficiency in knowledge that may not be beneficial for students in the long run.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, each business sector is <\/span>remodelling<\/span> its operations and services according to changing consumer perceptions and <\/span>behaviour<\/span>. To deal with the current market dynamics, companies are preferring to appoint candidates based on knowledge and risk rather than merit. They are looking for \u201cprofessionally prepared\u201d students. This has encouraged alternative MBAs to <\/span>replace traditional MBA degree programs as students no longer find it useful to stick to such courses just to get a degree. Additionally, young people who are trying to hone their skills to gain a better or new job role in their organization with expertise in digital social media to update and educate themselves with their jobs -Also considering an optional MBA (including digital marketing).<\/span><\/p>\n
