{"id":19914,"date":"2020-11-13T15:23:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-13T09:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsmakhani.com\/?p=19914"},"modified":"2020-11-13T15:23:00","modified_gmt":"2020-11-13T09:53:00","slug":"high-level-committee-approves-rs-4381-88-crore-of-additional-central-assistance-to-six-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsnarad.com\/pa\/high-level-committee-approves-rs-4381-88-crore-of-additional-central-assistance-to-six-states\/","title":{"rendered":"High Level Committee approves Rs. 4,381.88 crore of additional Central assistance to six States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"qtranxs-available-languages-message qtranxs-available-languages-message-pa\">\u0a2e\u0a3e\u0a2b\u0a3c \u0a15\u0a30\u0a28\u0a3e, \u0a07\u0a39 \u0a16\u0a2c\u0a30 \u0a24\u0a41\u0a39\u0a3e\u0a21\u0a40 \u0a2c\u0a47\u0a28\u0a24\u0a40 \u0a2d\u0a3e\u0a38\u0a3c\u0a3e \u0a35\u0a3f\u0a71\u0a1a \u0a09\u0a2a\u0a32\u0a2c\u0a27 \u0a28\u0a39\u0a40\u0a02 \u0a39\u0a48\u0964 <a href=\"https:\/\/newsmakhani.com\/en\/\">\u0a15\u0a3f\u0a30\u0a2a\u0a3e \u0a15\u0a30\u0a15\u0a47 \u0a07\u0a71\u0a25\u0a47 \u0a26\u0a47\u0a16\u0a4b\u0964<\/a><\/p><p><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">High Level Committee approves Rs. 4,381.88 crore of additional Central assistance to six States<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>New Delhi, November 13<\/p>\n<p>The High Level Committee (HLC) under the Chairmanship of the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, has approved additional Central assistance under the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) to six States, which were affected by cyclone\/ floods\/ landslides during this<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>year.<\/p>\n<p>HLC has approved additional Central assistance of\u00a0<strong>Rs\u00a04,381.88\u00a0<\/strong><strong>crore to six States<\/strong>\u00a0from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For cyclone \u2018Amphan\u2019,\u00a0<strong>Rs 2,707.77 crore<\/strong>\u00a0has been\u00a0<strong>approved for<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>West Bengal<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Rs.128.23 crore for Odisha<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For cyclone \u2018Nisarga\u2019 Rs\u00a0<strong>268.59 crore has been\u00a0<\/strong><strong>approved for Maharashtra<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For floods and landslides during the South-West monsoon,\u00a0<strong>Rs.577.84 crore has been approved for Karnataka, Rs 611.61 crore for Madhya Pradesh, and Rs 87.84 crore for Sikkim.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the aftermath of cyclone \u2018Amphan\u2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited the affected States of West Bengal and Odisha on 22nd May 2020. As announced by the Prime Minister, financial assistance of <strong>Rs. 1,000 crore to West Bengal and Rs 500 crore to Odisha<\/strong>\u00a0were released, in advance, on 23rd May 2020 for immediate relief activities in\u00a0<u>these<\/u>\u00a0States.
