The Pradhan Mantri Colleges of Excellence starting from July 2024 will be known for xcellent, quality, holistic, inclusive, and employment-oriented education in Madhya Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n

For infrastructure development, building expansion, lab equipment, library, sports facilities, furniture, etc. Rs 336 crore has been approved while Rs 150 crore annual recurring expenditure has been earmarked for 2232 new posts in Pradhan Mantri Colleges of Excellence in all the districts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As many as 1845 academic posts and 387 posts for class III and IV categories were created for 55 Pradhan Mantri Colleges of Excellence. In order to make the Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence multi-faculty and for conducting postgraduate classes, new departments like Sanskrit, Bio-Technology, and Computer Science have been included at the undergraduate level in 07 colleges and new subjects like Sanskrit, Bio-Technology, and Computer Science have been included at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Besides, postgraduate classes have been started in 27 different subjects.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

8 skill-based graduate courses in 105 colleges<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As many as 8 apprenticeship embedded (skill-based) graduate courses have been started in collaboration with 6 Sector Skill Councils for vocational courses in a total of 105 colleges. These include 55 Pradhan Mantri Colleges of Excellence and 50 other colleges. Eight skill-based courses including B. Com Logistics, B. com. E-Com Operation, B. Com in Retail Operation, B.Com. VFSI, B.Sc in Healthcare Management, B.Sc. Marketing & Sales (Pharma & Med Tech), B.Sc Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Quality and B.Com Human Resource Operation for MEPSC have been included. After obtaining permission from N.C.T.E., a B.Ed course will also be started. Two IT certificate courses (90 hours online) including Artificial Intelligence and Fintech with Al will be conducted at Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence in IIT Delhi on MoU basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aviation courses<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Seven certificate courses of 3 to 4 months are being conducted through the Aviation Sector Skill Council in the selected Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence of the state. These include airport warehouse coordinator, airport safety crew, airline flight load coordinator, airline cabin crew, flight dispatcher, airline reservation agent, and airline customer service executive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teaching material through Learning Management System<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the perspective of National Education Policy-2020, teaching material is being provided to the students through Learning Management System on the basis of newly created graduate courses. Teachers are being made to study systematically the process of teaching work through new pedagogy through IT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Indian Knowledge System Cell<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the basic spirit of the National Education Policy-2020, the \u2018Indian Knowledge System Cell\u2019 is being established in colleges. In this, books related to the Indian Knowledge System of all subjects, Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, etc. are being made available to teachers, students, and the general public. Along with this, the facility of showing videos, etc. related to the Indian Knowledge System is also being made available.<\/span><\/p>\n

Excellent, good quality, and employment-oriented education<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Realizing the Prime Minister\u2019s vision in the National Education Policy-2020, proper arrangements have been made in all the Pradhan Mantri Colleges of Excellence to provide excellent, good quality, and employment-oriented education while providing holistic development to the students, due to which these colleges will provide a new direction to the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Counter of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy\u2019 in Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Counter of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy\u2019 is being established in the Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence. With this, books published by Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy will be available to students and the general public at a 40 percent discounted rate.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Vidyavan\u2019 for environmental protection and green campus<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

By marking \u2018Vidyavan\u2019 for environmental protection and green campus, plantation is being done of Neem, Peepal, Karanj, Malthi, Sycamore, Tamarind, Mahua etc. by the Minister in-charge, MP, MLA, public representatives, distinguished citizens, Chairman and members of Public Participation Committee, teachers-employees and a large number of students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in national level competitions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Special arrangements will be made in the Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence, to participate in various national level competitions by developing versatility of the students through sports, youth festivals and extra-curricular activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resources for Pradhan Mantri<\/span><\/b>\u00a0College of Excellence<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Principals and teachers in the Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence are being selected based on merit so that trained, well-qualified, efficient administrators and teachers can be appointed as principals in these colleges. These college students will get the facility of bus service. The facility of two buses is being provided for the colleges located at the divisional headquarters and one bus facility is being provided for the colleges located at the district headquarters.<\/span>\u00a0Rs 40 lakh per college has been sanctioned to Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence for campus development which has been utilized for painting, repair, signage at the main gate, and greenery of the garden.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
