The Ministry of Steel, Government of India confers\u00a0National Metallurgist Awards to recognize outstanding contributions in the metallurgical field, covering Operations, Research & Development, Waste Management and Energy Conservation. \u00a0Applications for National Metallurgist Awards (NMA)-2024 are invited from Individuals from Industry, Research & Academia.<\/p>\n

The Awards will be given in the following four categories:-<\/strong><\/h5>\n
    \n
  1. Lifetime Achievement Award<\/li>\n
  2. National Metallurgist Award<\/li>\n
  3. Young Metallurgist Award\n
      \n
    1. Environment<\/li>\n
    2. Metal Science<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Award for R&D in Iron & Steel Sector.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The application will only be received online through the web portal\u00a0https:\/\/awards.steel.gov.in<\/a>.\u00a0The deadline for receiving applications for NMA 2024 has been extended to October 17, 2024.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n
