Giving information about this, the spokesperson of the department said that Chapters 6 and 7 of Haryana Building Code-2017 have been amended. As per the amendment made in Chapter-6 (a) Code 6.3 (2) (i), for plots upto 60 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 85 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 220 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)]will be 16.5 meters. Similarly, for plots above 60 square meter area to 150 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 80 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 200 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)]will be 16.5 meters, he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that for plots above 150 square meter area to 225 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 70 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 180 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)]will be 16.5 meters. Similarly, for plots above 225 square meter area to 450 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 60 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 160 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)]will be 16.5 meters, he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that for plots above 450 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 50 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 140 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)]will be 16.5 meters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that as per amendment made in Chapter-6 (b) Code 6.3 (3) (i) (a), for plots upto 100 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 66 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 165 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)] will be 16.5 meters. Similarly, for plots above 100 square meter area to 250 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 66 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 145 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)] will be 16.5 meters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that for plots above 250 square meter area to 350 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 60 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 130 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)] will be 16.5 meters. Similarly, for plots above 350 square meter area to 500 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 60 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 120 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)] will be 16.5 meters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that for plots above 500 square meter area to 1000 square meter area, Maximum permissible Ground Coverage will be 60 percent, Permissible basement will be Single-Level, Maximum Permissible Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be 100 percent and Maximum permissible Height [G+3 Floor (including stilt (S+4 Floor)] will be 16.5 meters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said as per the amendment made in Chapter-7 code 7.17 (1) of the &#8216;Haryana Building Code-2017&#8217;, Fire safety protection measures will be regulated by &#8216;Haryana Fire Service Act, 2009&#8217;, as amended from time to time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that the above amendment in the &#8216;Haryana Building Code&#8217; will come into force after the release of this memorandum.
