The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was held on Tuesday at the Secretariat. The Cabinet decided to approve the “Madhya Pradesh State Self-reliant Gaushalas Establishment Policy: 2025” under the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department for resolving the issue of homeless cattle in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

Decision to provide Rs 40 per cow per day in gaushalas<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet decided to increase the assistance for Gaushalas from Rs. 20 per cow per day to Rs. 40 per cow per day as per the Chief Minister’s announcement, to encourage the establishment of Gaushalas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Renaming of “Chief Minister Animal Husbandry Development Scheme” to “Dr. Ambedkar Animal Husbandry Development Scheme”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet decided to rename the “Chief Minister Animal Husbandry Development Scheme” to “Dr. Ambedkar Animal Husbandry Development Scheme” while continuing the scheme for the years 2024-25 and 2025-26. The objective is to increase employment opportunities, enhance productivity, increase farmers’ income, contribute to the state’s GDP, and the national GDP. Under the approval, zero percent interest rate credit cards will be made available to farmers for animal husbandry activities through cooperatives. Programs such as embryo transplantation, sterility control camps, Chief Minister Dairy Plus program, fodder production program, awards for the state’s indigenous cattle breeds and advanced dairy breeds, and orientation programs for animal breeders will continue.<\/span><\/p>\n

MoU with Edcil (India) Limited to improve education quality in state<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet decided to sign an MoU with Edcil (India) Limited, an organization affiliated with the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to improve the quality of education under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notably, Edcil (India) Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-1 public sector enterprise under the Government of India. The organization will implement various activities under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh, including workshops on improving learning, learning outcome-based evaluations, scientific exposure visits outside the state, teacher development, continuous professional development, and improving teaching strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval for Malhargarh (Shivna) Pressurized Micro Irrigation Project<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet approved the administrative sanction for the Malhargarh (Shivna) Pressurized Micro Irrigation Project worth Rs. 2932 crore 30 lakh, covering 60,000 hectares under the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project in Mandsaur district. This project will benefit 32 villages in Malhargarh Tehsil and 115 villages in Mandsaur Tehsil.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval for Govt Guarantee for Working Capital Loans for Power Companies<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet approved providing a government guarantee for working capital loans or cash credit facilities to the state’s power companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval for Administrative Sanction of Programs Funded by Public Finance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet approved the process for testing and administrative sanction of programs\/projects funded by public finance. The Finance Department has been authorized to issue this.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval for Revised Tender Format for Establishing Medical Colleges on PPP Mode<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cabinet approved the revised tender format for establishing medical colleges in the state on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The State-Level Empowered Committee for PPP projects, under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, has been authorized to make necessary changes in the tender format and resolve other issues.<\/span><\/p>\n
