71st<\/sup>\u00a0Constitution Day celebrated with patriotic fervor in Kargil<\/b><\/h2>\n

Kargil, November 26<\/p>\n

Like in other parts of the country, the 71st<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India (Constitution Day\/Samvidhan Divas, 2020) was today celebrated with great patriotic fervor and zeal in Kargil.<\/p>\n

As a part of the celebrations, Preamble reading ceremonies were organized at the Council Secretariat, LAHDC, Kargil, Deputy Commissioner Office Kargil and all the Government offices\/ institutions and other establishments in the district where Executive Councilors and Councillors and all the officers and officials of different departments read out the Preamble of the Constitution of India.<\/p>\n

It was stressed upon to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India and ideals and institutions included in the Constitution.<\/p>\n

The speakers on the occasion while throwing light on the salient features of the Constitution termed the Constitution as \u201ca living machinery and vehicle of life\u201d and a \u201choly book\u201d stressed upon the need to renew our commitment to uphold and practice the principles and values enshrined in our Constitution.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on\u00a0the 71st Constitution Day,\u00a0all\u00a0Government offices\/ institutions and other establishments at the Sub-Divisional, Tehsil, Panchayat and Municipal Corporation level also\u00a0read out the Preamble of the Constitution and expressed their pledge to uphold the fundamental duties.<\/p>\n

As a part of the celebrations, Government Degree College organized a webinar on the theme Relevance and Importance of Constitution Day wherein expert speakers from Delhi University and University of Ladakh threw detailed light on different aspects of the Constitution.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
