The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir observed the Balidan Divas of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee with deep reverence and patriotic spirit at the party office in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.<\/p>\n

The occasion was marked by heartfelt tributes to the great nationalist leader who sacrificed his life for the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir with the Union of India.<\/p>\n

Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), BJP J&K, accompanied by senior BJP leaders Altaf Thakur, Arif Raja, Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir, Wani Mudasir, Bilal Parray, Sajid Yousuf Shah, Sahil Bashir Bhat, Ashok Bhat, and others paid floral tributes on the occasion. Party workers and supporters gathered in large numbers to pay their respects and remember the towering legacy of Dr. Mukherjee.<\/p>\n

Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul said the commemorative programme was organized to honour the unmatched contribution of Dr. Mukherjee, whose martyrdom is etched in the nation\u2019s history as a pivotal moment in the struggle for one nation, one constitution.<\/p>\n

Ashok Koul said, \u201cDr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was a visionary patriot whose supreme sacrifice laid the foundation for a unified India. His slogan \u2018Ek desh mein do Vidhan, do Pradhan, aur do Nishan nahi chalenge\u2019 still reverberates in the soul of every nationalist Indian. His ideology continues to guide our commitment to national integrity, especially in Jammu and Kashmir.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation has fulfilled Dr. Mukherjee\u2019s dream by abrogating Article 370, bringing true integration of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of India.<\/p>\n

Speakers on the occasion recalled his courageous stand and untiring efforts for the unity of the nation. They reiterated that Dr. Mukherjee\u2019s ideology remains the guiding light for the BJP\u2019s nationalist vision.<\/p>\n

Floral tributes were paid to Dr. Mukherjee\u2019s portrait, followed by a pledge by all attendees to uphold his ideals and continue working for a united and strong India.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
