Modi\u2019s Vision for \u20b910,637 Cr Sanctioned Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n

J&K BJP spokespersons addressed a press conference today at the party headquarters, celebrating the Centre\u2019s sanctioning of \u20b910,637 crore worth of infrastructure projects, including two strategically significant tunnels\u2014Pir Ki Gali Tunnel on Mughal Road and Sadhna Tunnel on the Kupwara Highway.<\/p>\n

BJP Spokesperson Arun Gupta, addressing the media, said the sanctioning of such high-magnitude projects is the result of \u201cintense and continuous efforts\u201d by the J&K BJP unit in coordination with the Central leadership.<\/p>\n

Gupta was accompanied by party spokespersons, Dr Tahir Choudhary, and Vikram Malhotra, while addressing the press conference at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that these projects are not just announcements but will be executed with the same seriousness, reflecting BJP\u2019s track record of delivering on development promises.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese tunnels, worth nearly \u20b910,637 crore, are crucial for all-weather connectivity, especially for border and remote areas like Rajouri, Poonch, and Kupwara. Mughal Road remains cut off for half the year, affecting development and logistics. With this, an alternate national highway link becomes a reality,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tahir Chowdhary, senior BJP leader and spokesperson, also highlighted the strategic importance of these tunnels, especially in improving troop mobility, emergency access, and tourism connectivity.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuch long-pending projects are only possible due to the serious commitment of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari toward J&K’s development,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

BJP Spokesperson Sh. Vikram Malhotra underlined the tunnels’ significance for national security and their role in strengthening alternate connectivity for border areas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Sadhna Tunnel, connecting key regions in north Kashmir, will be a game-changer for Kupwara and surrounding areas, both from a security and tourism perspective,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The leaders also responded to opposition criticism alleging regional bias in project allocation.<\/p>\n

Sh. Arun Gupta clarified that both Jammu and Kashmir divisions are beneficiaries, citing the Pir Ki Gali tunnel on the Jammu\u2013Poonch\u2013Rajouri axis as a clear example.<\/p>\n

He also addressed concerns raised about pending urban projects in Jammu city, citing technical challenges and ongoing evaluations.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnlike previous regimes, BJP ensures projects are not just started but completed with sustainable planning and execution,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The BJP leaders affirmed that J&K\u2019s development is a top priority under PM Modi\u2019s leadership and reiterated that the region is finally witnessing long-overdue infrastructure and economic growth.<\/p>\n
