Haryana\u2019s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij<\/strong>\u00a0made a bold statement today, saying that \u201cI am the most senior MLA, I have to oversee all of Haryana, and therefore I will soon begin a state-wide tour. I will meet new and old party workers and check on their well-being.\u201d Issuing a stern warning to the officers, Sh. Vij said that \u201cI will also be checking on those officers who are not implementing government schemes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by the media persons regarding the recent BJP legislative party meeting, during which constituencies were allotted to MLAs and ministers \u2013 but the name of seven-time MLA Anil Vij was missing from the list.<\/p>\n

He said that \u201cI am the most senior MLA, so I have to oversee all of Haryana, while other legislators have been given just one constituency each. I have won the assembly election seven times and I will soon begin touring all of Haryana. I will meet party workers at various locations and check in on their well-being. And I will also be checking those officers who fail to implement the government’s schemes, he warned.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to a question about the opposition\u2019s allegation in Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) during the debate on “Operation Mahadev and Shiv Shakti”, where they accused the army of being saffronized, Sh. Vij remarked that \u201cThe opposition is against all the traditions and beliefs of Hindustan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Advising the opposition, he said that \u201cThey should know that every unit of our army has temples and gurdwaras. They should also know that when our brave soldiers charge toward the enemy, they shout \u2018Jai Bajrang Bali!\u2019 They must understand that many military operations in our country have been named after Hindu traditions or Indian cultural identities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe opposition has started opposing our places of faith and national beliefs\u201d \u2013 Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n

Criticizing the opposition, Sh. Vij said that \u201cThe opposition should be ashamed. Should we name our operations after Pakistani missiles or other foreign references? The opposition has completely strayed from real issues. In the name of political opposition to the Prime Minister, they have now started opposing the country itself.
