To mark the 11th year of its inception, the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Trespone, organized a marathon event that witnessed participation from the students of the school.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The marathon, which began from Ashina and concluded at GHSS Trespone, covered a total distance of 3.7 kilometers. A total of 105 students participated in the event, including 55 boys and 50 girls.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
While concluding the marathon, Mr. Sajjad Hussain, Principal of GHSS Trespone, addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of physical health and fitness among students. The event was attended by Mr. Arun Porje, General Manager, NHIDCL Program Management Unit Kargil, along with his team members and staff of GHSS Trespone.<\/div>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arun Porje stated that this day marks the 11th anniversary of NHIDCL\u2019s journey in building the nation’s infrastructure and connectivity. He further added that in order to promote greater enthusiasm among students, the winners in both boys’ and girls’ categories were acknowledged separately.<\/div>\n

In the girls\u2019 category, Fatima Nissa secured the first position, followed by Zareena Banoo in second and Fatima Soqra in third. In the boys\u2019 category, Kumail Murtaza bagged the first position, while Farman Ali and Bashir Ahmad secured the second and third positions respectively.<\/div>\n

At the conclusion of the event, Principal Sajjad Hussain extended thanks to NHIDCL, Police Department, Health Department, Information Department, and all the participants who contributed to making the program a resounding success.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
